Lars Johannes Irgens (9 October 1775 – 22 April 1830) was a Norwegian jurist and politician.
He was born in Hof in Solør. He graduated as cand.jur. in 1802, and was appointed district stipendiary magistrate (sorenskriver) in Sogn the same year.[1] He was a member of the Norwegian Constitutional Assembly in 1814.[2]
He is the father of later government minister Nils Christian Irgens.[1]
